Embers In The Snow
a 2-part musical piece that was created in commemoration for
the A-Bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki in 1945.

As a part of The Green Legacy Hiroshima project On April 16
students and faculty of the Japanese Studies Program
in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI were joined
by a select group of invited guests to plant the sapling,
which was grown from the seeds of a 300-year-old tree
that survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, in 1945.

The first part of my original musical piece
“Embers In The Snow”
commemorates those who lost their lives
and loved ones
during the bombings of Hiroshima & Nagasaki.
This side is to show respect and reflect upon the past.
So that we make grow from the mistakes of humanity
and learn to heal and love one another as humans.

The second part of my original musical piece
“Embers In The Snow”
honors those who
lost their lives
and loved ones during the bombings of
Hiroshima & Nagasaki
This side is to bring new light and energy
to the modern world
so that we maygrow
from the mistakes of humanity, and learn

to heal,
and love one another

as humans.
Our differences are what makes humanity beautiful.

PLEASE ENJOY!
